Kisumu Green Pulse sets out to create a comprehensive framework for change. It begins with engaging a diverse network of local environmental organizations, educational institutions, businesses, government bodies, and community leaders. This broad coalition forms the backbone of the movement, providing expertise, resources, and a platform for collective action.
Through a series of educational workshops, Kisumu Green Pulse empowers participants with a deep understanding of climate challenges, emphasizing both global significance and local implications. It doesn’t stop at awareness; the project takes practical steps by organizing tree planting campaigns, waste management behavior change campaigns (since waste management is behavioral), and other tangible activities.
